Greetings from Camp Burgess & Hayward! We are so excited to welcome your child to Camp!
In preparation for your child’s arrival, we are supplying you with some useful information that will help ensure a smooth check-in and a successful camping experience:
Your Account: Please log in to your account, here, to review your statement and to make sure your balance is paid in full.
Camp Store Deposit: Please make sure your child’s camp store deposit is set up prior to check-in. The recommended deposit amount is $40/week. If you are unsure of whether or not you have already set up the store deposit, please review your statement (attached) for the correlating charge description. If you have not set up the store deposit, you may do so online via your account by clicking on: “View details” (under “View My Registrations”) > “Add people, sessions, options” > scroll down and select deposit amount > continue through to payment page. You can also set up your child’s store deposit by calling 508-428-2571.
Your child will have the opportunity to shop in the camp store during the session for items such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, sunblock, towels, flashlights, etc. Please note: We do not issue refunds for funds remaining in your child’s camp store account at the end of the session – your child may either shop in the store upon check-out, or shop for remaining camp merchandise online via our website during the month of September. As of October 1st, any remaining funds will automatically be converted to a donation to our Campership Fund.
Mandatory Paperwork: Please log back in to your account to complete any outstanding paperwork, including the Participant Information Form, the Participant Medical Form and uploads of the Participant Physical Examination & Vaccination Record and front-back copy of the participant’s medical insurance card, prior to your child’s arrival at Camp Burgess & Hayward. Camp Parent Guide: Please review our Parent Guide, which contains the essential details pertaining to Camp, including the Packing List, Driving Directions, Check-In and Check-Out dates and times.
Airport Contract: If your child in flying in from Boston-Logan airport and will need transportation to and/or from Camp, you will need to submit this Airport Contract at least two weeks prior to your child’s arrival.
Our Cancellation Policy:
• *Deposits ($200 per Camp session, $150 per Adventure Trip, $50 for horseback) and Registration Fee ($45) are non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances.
• Cancel before May 1, 2019 – 100% program fees paid are refundable (less the non-refundable deposits).*
• Cancel on or after May 1, 2019 – 50% program fees paid are refundable (less the non-refundable deposits).*
• Cancel within 14 days of program start date – No refund, except in the case of medical necessity (documentation must be provided).
• There is a $25 fee to change sessions subsequent to registering.
Please be advised that we do not allow pets on Camp, so please leave them at home – thank you!
