Martha’s Vineyard Bike

Martha’s Vineyard Biking is a 6-day adventure trip with a great mix of easy to moderate cycling, scenic destinations and exciting activities. Trippers spend the first and last nights of their trip at Base Camp.  While on Martha’s Vineyard, the group stays at a hostel, where they cook and interact with guests from around the world.  Participants have the opportunity to cycle some great bike paths and quiet back roads, swim in the ocean and relax on the beaches, shop and sightsee in old whaling towns, and kayak at Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary.

PREREQUISITES:  This trip is a great choice for new and returning campers alike! This trip is open to campers ages 12-16. Campers registering for this trip should feel comfortable riding a bike, as the group will be riding anywhere from 15-25 miles per day. Campers will enjoy the trip much more if prepared- please practice biking and be in good physical shape prior to the trip!

Note: Participants are responsible for bringing their own biking equipment, or the equipment can be rented for an additional fee.  Please see our Parent Guide for more information.
