Green Mountain Odyssey

On the Green Mountain Odyssey, our campers will embark on a journey into the Green Mountain State with a full schedule of exciting activities to try out. To start, campers will spend time in Killington, VT for 3-full days of outdoor adventuring. Beginning with kayaking through Vermont’s beautiful rivers and lakes, they will end their days by exploring the legendary cave systems that captivate travelers from all over the world. Next on their agenda, campers will then head up to the Lake Champlain area to try their hands at some exciting watersports on Lake Champlain, the biggest lake in New England! Campers will learn to cook for themselves around a campfire, and form amazing memories and friendships over the course of this trip. With this Adventure Trip only being offered once this season, we encourage you to register while spots are still available!

We will spend our first and last nights at Base Camp, while during the rest of the trip, campers will stay in campgrounds in Vermont. Bathrooms and showers will be available. 

By the end of this 2-week trip, campers and staff will return to Base Camp, where they will celebrate their adventures with the rest of Adventure Trips around a farewell dinner and an emotional closing campfire.

PREREQUISITES: This trip is open to campers ages 13-17. Previous experience with Adventure Trips or a similar camping experience is recommended. With so much time being spent hiking, swimming, and adventuring, campers should feel comfortable being outdoors. This trip includes exploration of caves, and as such, campers should feel very comfortable exploring enclosed and tight spaces.
