Cape Cod Canal Clean-Up ~ Earth Day Celebration!

The Burgess & Hayward Road Crew will be holding its last event before Volunteer Day! We’ll be participating in the Cape Cod Canal Clean-Up, organized in partnership between AmeriCorps Cape Cod and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Canal Clean-Up is a great opportunity to give back to the community, have fun with camp friends, and celebrate Earth Day!

It’s going to be a fantastic day for the Road Crew, and we hope you’ll join us! All are welcome!

Place: Buzzards Bay Recreation Area – Cape Cod Canal in Buzzards Bay, MA

Time: Saturday, April 22, 2017, 10am to 1pm

Transportation: If needed, transportation is available to and from the Emilson Y in Hanover. Meet outside front lobby door at 9am. Drop off at Emilson – 2pm. Please communicate if transportation is needed with RSVP.

Food: Eat before you arrive. Camp and Americorps will provide snacks. Bring water bottle and lunch if you want.

Clothing: We’ll be outside all day! Please check the weather and dress appropriately. Layers are always recommended.  Free Road Crew t-shirts provided!
