The Burgess Road Crew
On April 12th, The Road Crew will be coming together once again for the “Feed the Need” 5K walk/run at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham. All proceeds from the day will benefit various South Shore food pantries.
This is a very popular event in the area, and we’re hoping to have a large Road Crew contingent to represent camp that day. Come with your friends and family–all are welcome! It’s easy to participate. Register online by accepting a waiver and committing to donate either 25 cans of food or $25.
We’ll gather as a group at 8:00am just outside the Wompatuck State Park Welcome Center, where there will also be access to restrooms and snacks. From there, we’ll make our way to the starting line for the 8:30 begin time.
Pick-up will be at 10:30am, also at the Wompatuck State Park Welcome Center.
