Dear Camper Families, Friends, Alumni and Staff:
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to share a very special occasion with us, as we enjoy the “Last Lunch” in the current Camp Hayward Dining Hall, followed by the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new dining hall!
The current Dining Hall, which will remain a valuable programmatic space at Camp Hayward, has a maximum capacity of 275, limiting the number of girls we can accommodate at mealtimes. Each year the wait list to experience Hayward continues to grow, but because the dining hall is at maximum capacity, many girls are missing out on the life-changing impact of attending Hayward. The construction of a new Dining Hall with a capacity of 400, will enable us to extend this opportunity to many more deserving girls.
We hope you can join us on Saturday, September 26th, from 12-1 pm, for this celebratory event, where we will come together to pay tribute to our revered dining hall, by sharing one final meal under her roof. The groundbreaking ceremony will take place directly after lunch, at 1 pm.
