Can Camp Counselors “Out-Parent” Parents?

This is a fascinating article that I think will serve parents who are “on the fence” about sending their child away to Camp, very well. Having the great fortune to speak directly to parents before and after having sent their children to Camp, I am always amazed when they relay such sentiments as, “She is so grown-up,” “He is so responsible!”  “He cleans up after himself,” as the author of the article references, upon the child’s return home from Camp Burgess & Hayward.
