At the end of this week, we’ll say a fond farewell to our first-ever Farm Guru, Gabi. She’s off to, well, whiter pastures for a second winter as a ski instructor at Breckenridge in Colorado. Throughout the growing season, she happily dug in to a great number of tasks, be they fun and exciting or smelly and not-so-exciting. She mastered the art of the wood-fired pizza oven, she served as an excellent liaison for the Farm with the Teen Adventure Trips and Outdoor Education programs, and she helped develop new and innovative ways to use the farm in a meaningful and effective way with campers and students alike.

Safe travels, Gabi… We’ll miss you!
