HOLIDAY TOY DISTRIBUTION IN BOURNE

VOLUNTEER CAMPERS and staff NEEDED!

Sunday, December 13 – 11am to 2pm

The Burgess and Hayward Road Crew will be holding its second volunteer event of the season. We’ll be participating in the Bourne Friends Food Pantry Toy Distribution, which partners with Toys for Tots in order to provide Christmas gifts to approximately 300 children in the Town of Bourne. The toys arrive by truck and are sorted in the Community Building on Main Street in Buzzards Bay. The Community Building resembles a toy store stock room at the beginning of the day and Santa’s workshop on Christmas Eve by the end of the day! Local families are invited in the following week to choose toys for their children. We’ll be unloading and sorting the toys. Road Crew participants are welcome to bring a new gift for any child up to 16 years old as a donation.

It’s going to be a fantastic day for the Road Crew!  We hope you’ll join us.  All are welcome.
